How to Flash or Install Firmware for Samsung Galaxy S2 Using Odin
I just did working on this on my Samsung Galaxy S2 which I bought Five (5) days ago and I always wanna say thanks to the internet for providing my the guides and downloads which is free of charge.
This guide is very simple and even those who are not techie expert can follow this tip.
Flashing Firmware with Odin
Note: DO NOT PUT .PIT FILE
Step 1. Download the version of your Firmware here (Download link)
Step 2. KIES Software Driver= http://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mo...OFTWARE.MANUAL
Step 3. USB Driver= http://www.mediafire.com/?lp1pnd0s5g1h5kj
Step 4. Download Odin
Step 5. Reboot your phone to download mode.
To get download mode shut down the device. After it shuts off completely simultaneously press the Down volume key+ Home button + press the power button .Step 6. Start Odin (Odin3_v1.3.exe)
You should see a warning asking you to press volume up if you want to continue or volume down to cancel, press volume up. You are now in download mode!
Step 7. Click on the PDA button and browse to the file that you download in step 1.
Step 8. Connect the USB cable and wait for the ID:COM section to turn yellow
Step 9. Click start to flash
Step 10. Do not disconnect the cable or turn off the device, it will reboot when it finishes.
It will not wipe your phone if you flash as recommended
