Don't send Windows Error Report when system crashes

Recent report and research from Websense security research group, indicated that Windows systems used by consumers in the event of an error report, that if you submit an error report to Microsoft, then it would be very useful and may be intercepted by hackers, and based on this information to help formulate on relevant strategies of hacker attack. When the system crashes then it will pop up a dialog box, which contains detailed information on the operation status of the device, Windows version information, application information, and this information hackers are likely to be listening to.

When the system or application crashes then it pops up an error report, users often need to confirm whether it will pass these error messages to Microsoft, but at the time of transferring on some of the information often does not interact with the user. For example, the success of the new U-disk connection, information about the host and the Windows version number is being used, the service pack installation, BIOS information, and so on.

Although, when this data appear to leaked and no serious problem, but for a company who are the target of hackers, this information is very valuable, it can help hackers to aim their network test systems currently known vulnerabilities and weak points . Websense group noted: "Information generated due to a system crash is still very useful for hackers, and hackers might take to develop new zero-day vulnerabilities."

Evasi0n 7 1.0.2 beta to Fix iPad 2 Issues and Jailbreak 7.0.4 UnTethered

The iOS 7 jailbreak tool, Evasi0n7, received its first update just a few moments ago for the Mac and PC. The update, which as billed as a 1.0.1 release, removes the primary source of the controversy surrounding Sunday’s release—the Chinese TaiG package.

Official Download Page: Link

It is compatible with the following iOS devices:

iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5, iPhone 4S, iPhone 4

iPad Air, iPad 4, iPad 3, iPad 2
Retina iPad mini, iPad mini
iPod touch 5G

- evasi0n7 1.0 is an untethered jailbreak for all iPhone, iPod touch, iPad and iPad mini models running iOS 7.0 through 7.0.4

- MacOSX 10.5/10.6/10.7/10.8

- Windows (XP minimum)

- iOS 7.0, 7.0.1, 7.0.2, 7.0.3, 7.0.4, 7.1beta1, 7.1beta2

Important Update:

An updated version of the evasi0n 7x untether has been released in Cydia. Those who jailbroke with evasi0n7 1.0.1 will need to update to this version because it contains changes that saurik requires for getting Cydia and MobileSubstrate fully operational.

This is the untethered exploit installed by the evasi0n7 jailbreaking tool. If you jailbroke you device with evasi0n7, this untether has already been automatically installed for you.

Version 0.2 of this package is what came with evasi0n7 1.0.1; it removes the TaiG splash screen and adds some features that saurik will be relying on in future updates to other packages. Users who jailbreak with evasi0n7 1.0.1 already have version 0.2 of this package installed.

If your device relies on evasi0n7 for untethering, uninstalling this package will unjailbreak your device. It will reboot in a bizarre state similar to tethered devices rebooted without using an external tool, but it will not be able to be booted tethered, so you will have to restore it with iTunes.

Please install the new untether package from the Changes tab in Cydia.

- Backup your device using iTunes (or iCloud) before using evasi0n. If something breaks, you'll always be able to recover your data.

- Those who use backup passwords in iTunes must disable them for now. After doing so, iTunes makes a brand new backup. Please wait for that backup to complete before proceeding! Feel free to re-enable your backup password after jailbreaking.
- Please disable the lock passcode of your iOS device before using evasi0n. It can cause issues.
- Launch evasi0n, plug in your device, and click "Jailbreak". Just sit back and observe its progress. Watch for any steps you may be asked to perform.
- Avoid all iOS and iTunes related tasks until evasi0n is complete. Why not just enjoy a brief break from the computer to stretch your legs?
- If the process gets stuck somewhere, it's safe to restart the program, reboot the device (if necessary by holding down Power and Home until it shuts down), and rerun the process.

If you have any questions regarding the jailbreak process or jailbreaking in general

please go to the Jailbreak QA dedicated website:
or see their help page for evasi0n:
