The Easiest Way To Speed-up Internet Download Manager (IDM)

Tutorials: How to speed-up or boost Internet Download Manager or IDM in the easiest way (works on all version).

Step 1. Open your IDM or Internet Download Manager >>> click 'Options' >>> choose 'Connections' >>> connection type/speed 'Other' >>> bps '0' >>> Default max. conn. number '16' then >>> hit 'OK'

Step 2. Run "Registry Editor" - from 'Start Menu' >>> Click 'Run' >>> Type 'regedit' >>> Hit 'Enter"

Step 3. Look for >>> HKEY_CURRENT _USER/Software/DownloadManager >>> and double click 'ConnectionSpeed'

Step 4. After you double click 'ConnectionSpeed', click 'Decimal' value >>> and change to '9999999999' that is 10 times the (9's).

Step 5. Click 'OK' then just ignore the warning 'Overflow' and click 'YES' this is safe.

Now check your Internet Download Manager or IDM 'Options' >>> 'Connection' and check the value of 'bps' if it appears to be like this '4294967295'.

And if it is Yes, now your done tweaking the speed of your IDM.
