Miss Universe 2011 Winner - Leila Lopes (Wallpaper for Mobile)

Leila Lopes, a 25 years old, made history on Monday when she was crowned winner from the 2011 Miss Universe in São Paulo, Brazil, turning out to be the very first Angolan Miss Universe.

The Five foot 10 1/2 inches tall high beauty is likewise the 4th African woman to win the title. The last African to win is Mpule Kwelagobe, Miss Universe 1999 from Botswana. Other winners originated from Namibia (1992) and South Africa (1978).

Besides beating 89 other contestants, Lopes turned out the winner over competitor from Ukraine (23-year-old Olesia Stefanko, 1st Runner-up), Brazil (Priscila Machado, 2ndRunner-up), 3rd Runner-up Miss Philippines, and 4th Runner-up was Miss China.
