Cherry Mobile Superion - Quick Review
Measuring 179 x 110 x 11.5 mm, the Cherry Mobile Superion appears quite sleek and stylish simply because it has a thin display frame. The compactness of the Superion also provides away from the perception of its becoming solidly-built. It doesn't smell of large funds but it is considerably from inexpensive either. The device is powered by a 600 MHz Qualcomm processor only, with 512 MB ROM and 512 MB RAM as well, so it's not definitely a big surprise that there's a delay on some parts of the program. Keep in mind that the gadget is running the Android 2.2 (Froyo) OS, the same operating system that powers the Galaxy Tab but the latter has faster processor.
Benchmark app Quadrant gave the Cherry Mobile Superion a reputable (for a smart phone) rating of 419 . It drops in between the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 and the Motorola Droid . Comparing it to other devices that run on Android 2.2 "FroYo" however and it's just embarrassing. But as the old saying goes, you get what you pay for .
