The white version of the Galaxy S II was announced a while ago but as yet there was no release date given for the device; however according to the guys over at
Slash Gear by way of Tmonews, T-Mobile has now used their Twitter account to announce that missing release date.

Thus is would appear that T-Mobile will release the white
Samsung Galaxy S II on Wednesday the 14th of December and will carry the same price tag as the black galaxy S II at $229.99 after a 50-buck mail in rebate and signing up for the usual two-year agreement, although it does appear that you will only be able to get the white version via T-Mobile online.
