Preparations on the Mobile Phone:

1. Phone must be already unlock
2. You need to enable USB debugging mode.
3. Your phone battery should be 80-85% charged to prevent for power interruption.
4. Backup all your important data . . .
• Backup your SMS messages.
• Backup Contacts, Gmail and Google Data.
• Backup Call History.
• Backup WhatsApp Messages.
• Backup APN Settings: GPRS, 3G, MMS Settings.

If above steps had been followed, lets proceed to installation or flashing procedure.

Flashing or Installing Firmware or Rom Instructions:

Step 1. Switch off your phone by Pressing and hold the Volume Down + Home buttons together, and then press the Power button until you will see the building of Android robot and the triangle. Press Power again to confirm to enter into Download Mode.

Step 2. Open ODIN on your computer.

Step 3. Connect your phone to your computer while your phone is on the Download Mode.

Step 4. Phone must be connected successfully and see if one of the ID:COM boxes will highlighted into Yellow together with the COM port number.

Step 5. Click on ‘PDA’ and select the “.TAR.MD5” file which you downloaded and extracted (Download Samsung Galaxy S3 ROMs/Firmwares).

Step 6. Now click on the Start button in ODIN. Installation process will start and would take a few minutes to complete.

Step 7. Do not disconnect the cable or turn off the device, it will reboot when it finishes.

Step 8. When the installation is completed, your phone will restart.

Step 9. After you see the home screen, unplug your phone from the computer.

And your Done.
