Microsoft's My Xbox Live now on Android
My Xbox Live for Android is now available for download at Android Market.
My Xbox Live user can now sign-in on their android devices, read their Xbox live messages, update profile, check for latest Xbox game trailers and promotional videos and can also see recent Xbox Live updates via Spotlight..
Now that Microsoft released their My Xbox Live application on iOS even without the functionality that it can tether into your phone device and Xbox by using it as a remote and missing some key functions, still this app has the ability to control the Xbox console remotely and a direct control on some applications like Netflix.
Major Nelson points out that the rollout of this app is not related to SmartGlass, revealed at E3 last week. "Yes, we do intend to bring Xbox SmartGlass to several platforms over time, but have no details to share right now."
